charcoal alley x free people
With instagram ablaze with inspiration at every turn and my computer time already consuming so many hours of my day, the blog world hadn't been on my mind for a long while.... a guilty pleasure I felt I hadn't the time to indulge in.
But now, upon delving heart first into the world of Paris Gerrard via the Charcoal Alley blog rather than the flicks of instagram, it seems Im again reuniting with an old favourite procrastination... I mean, pastime.
Ive been following Paris on instagram ever since launching Shantique Designs in January and her pics, her style, her very energy, has always been a huge source of inspiration for me but only this morning have I actually had the pleasure of scrolling through the pages of her truly amazing blog. I must have been living under a rock somewhere because this girl is truly like something out of a dream and with every photo so meticulously captured, so beautifully thought out and every outfit like some sort of work of art its a surprise I hadn't been drooling over this woman since her first steps in the blogosphere. The photography of her equally exceptional sister Zoe Maks is testament to one seriously wicked gene pool!
This latest post, a collab with Paris and Free People is everything Id imagine to come out of a partnership between 2 such incredible forces and one that has added a fresh touch of inspiration to my Monday morning. Check out the full post and interview here and if you too have been kept in the dark about the awesomeness that is this, make sure to go check out the Charcoal Alley blog here, you wont regret it!
Photography by uber talented Zoe Maks.
Happy Monday lovers, hope you all have a bless'ed week ahead
